Instructions

    • Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Add both the seeds and pod to the mixture. If using vanilla extract, add it after removing the mixture from heat.
    • Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves, ensuring the mixture doesn’t boil.
  2. Cool the Mixture:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and discard the vanilla pod.
    • Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Prepare for the Creami:
    • Transfer the chilled mixture into a Ninja Creami-compatible pint container.
    • Freeze the container for 24 hours.
  4. Spin and Serve:
    • After freezing, place the container in your Ninja Creami machine and process on the “Ice Cream” setting.
    • If the texture seems crumbly, respin until creamy perfection is achieved.
    • Serve immediately or store in the freezer for later.
